    General Information

The camps will still include the full variety of sports but will be based around building swimming skills and have fun in the water! We are lucky enough to have secured the location of Lancaster Grammar School as well as the University of Cumbria, which both boast fantastic facilities that we will be including in our camps.

We offer a wide range of active, rewarding, and innovative sports camps aimed at both boys and girls from the ages of 5 to 13. Every camp is suitable for children of all abilities, so everyone can join in on the fun!

Our staff members are talented, professional, and CRB/DBS checked from the University of Cumbria with vast experience and passion for working with young people. We pride ourselves in maintaining a positive, safe, and fun educational environment throughout every camp. With a high ratio of coaches to children, each child has the opportunity to participate and broaden their interests and understanding of physical activity. Camp activities include football, gymnastics, tennis, basketball, dodgeball, rugby, athletics, dance, and much more!

The swimming part of the camp is not compulsory – other activities will be available should your child not wish to swim. Please note, this is a ‘fun swim’ not a swimming lesson, your child must be able to swim at least 1 length (5m) without support to take part. Children will be grouped based on ability, with lifeguards and Multi-Sports coaches present and on hand at all times.

So what would my child get out of the camps?

We consider our camps to be designed in such a way that allows children to further develop their skills and achieve success through maximum involvement and encouraged competition. Children will be able to gain a better understanding of the skills they need to take their game to the next level, in an environment that is both educational and fun. Your child will have the opportunity to excel individually as well as practice their teamwork skills in a setting which encourages friendship, enjoyment, socialisation and positive experiences of physical activity.
